lip lines boise

Kelli's signature treatment using a micro-droplet hyaluronic acid (HA) filler technique

Introduction

how lip line filler works

Lip lines treatment uses a micro-droplet hyaluronic acid filler technique to smooth vertical lines around the mouth, commonly called smoker's lines or perioral lines.

The method targets each line individually by placing small amounts of filler directly beneath it.

Most clients see optimal results after a series of approximately 3 sessions spaced a few months apart, at $750 per session.

Results can last 6-12 months after completing the series.

At The Dose Collective in Boise, Idaho, lip lines treatment is performed exclusively by Kelli Dougherty, BSN, RN.

what to expect with lip line treatment

20 to 30 minutes per session

the injections are quick. most of the appointment time is spent on precision placement. numbing is provided first so you're comfortable.

it's a series, not a single session

most clients see the best results after about 3 sessions spaced a few months apart. the spacing matters. your skin needs time to integrate the product between treatments.

subtle at first, better over time

you'll see some immediate softening, but swelling sticks around for a few days. the real change becomes clear around week 2. each session builds on the last.

results can last 6 to 12 months

depends on your skin, how deep the lines were, and how your body metabolizes product. maintenance sessions can extend your results after the initial series.

wait 2 to 3 months

your skin needs time to integrate the product and respond before building on it.

same idea. let the product settle and your tissue adapt before the final round.

yes, but the technique and placement are completely different. this targets the vertical lines around your mouth specifically. in some cases, we will also place filler in the lips themselves if that's what's needed to fully smooth the lines out.

we provide a dental block with each treatment. most clients say there is little to no pain.

the skin around your mouth is thin and the lines are structural. layering small amounts over time gives a more natural, longer-lasting result than trying to fill everything at once. your skin needs time to integrate the product between sessions.

yes. some clients do lip lines and lip filler in separate appointments. kelli can advise on timing and sequencing during your appointment.

deeper lines usually need multiple treatments and may need maintenance sooner. kelli will be honest about what's realistic at your first appointment.

topicals and lasers work on the surface. this works from underneath, physically reducing the depth of each line with filler placed directly beneath it. for moderate to deep lines, this tends to produce more noticeable results.
