dermal filler boise

Cheeks. Chin. Jawline. Whatever your face needs, mapped to your anatomy.

Introduction

what it actually is

how dermal filler works

Dermal filler is an injectable treatment using hyaluronic acid (HA) gel to restore volume, enhance contours, and improve facial balance.

Common treatment areas include the cheeks, chin, and jawline.

Results are visible immediately, with final results at 2 weeks, and can typically last 8-12 months depending on the area treated and the product used.

Dermal filler can be dissolved at any time using an enzyme called hyaluronidase.

At The Dose Collective in Boise, Idaho, dermal filler treatments start at $700 per syringe and are performed exclusively by Kelli Dougherty, BSN, RN.

how it works

the dermal filler treatment process

no surprises. here's the full walkthrough so you know exactly what to expect.

01

consult + game plan

~20 min

kelli maps your face, talks through what you're wanting, and builds a plan based on your anatomy and goals. nothing happens until you've seen the plan and said yes.

02

prep

~10 min

skin is cleansed, injection points are marked, and numbing is applied if applicable. most fillers also have lidocaine built in, so comfort builds as we go.

03

treatment

15-30 min

kelli injects using a cannula or needle depending on the area and product. you'll feel pressure but most clients say it's way more comfortable than they expected.

04

done. that's it.

you'll see results immediately, though final results settle over 2-4 weeks as swelling goes down. no major downtime. most people go right back to their day.

total appointment time varies by area and number of syringes. most clients are in and out in under an hour.

the stuff everyone asks.

It depends on the area, the product, and your metabolism. Lips tend to break down faster, usually 6-12 months. Kelli will walk you through what to expect for your specific plan during your consult.

Most clients say it's way less painful than they expected. The filler itself has lidocaine built in so it gets more comfortable as we go. You'll feel pressure and maybe some pinching, but it's very manageable.

Different tools for different things. Botox relaxes muscles that cause wrinkles (like forehead lines and crow's feet). Filler adds volume and structure, think lips, cheeks, chin, jawline. Many people get both. They work well together but they do completely different things.

Kelli works with hyaluronic acid fillers including Restylane and Versa. The specific product depends on the area being treated and what result you're going for. She'll recommend the best fit during your consult, not a one-product-fits-all situation.

That's determined at your consult. It depends on your anatomy, your goals, and where you're starting from. Some people are happy with one syringe. Others want a multi-area plan. Kelli will map everything out and you'll approve the plan before anything happens.

Minimal. You might have some swelling, tenderness, or light bruising for a few days. Most people go right back to their normal routine. We just ask that you skip intense workouts for 24 hours and avoid laying face-down the first night.

Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. It's a quick in-office treatment and results are visible within 24-48 hours. We offer this as a standalone service if you need it.

Always. If it's your first time here, you'll start with a consult ($50, applied toward treatment). If you want to get treated the same day, book the "same day treatment consultation" option and we'll do the consult and treatment in one visit. Nothing ever happens without a conversation first.
