filler dissolving boise

hyaluronidase to correct or remove previous filler.

Introduction

how filler dissolving works

Filler dissolving uses an enzyme called hyaluronidase to break down hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. It works on all HA fillers including Juvederm, Restylane, RHA, and Versa.

The enzyme is injected directly into the area where filler needs to be reduced or removed. It starts breaking down the filler within minutes, with most of the change visible within 24-48 hours.

This isn't just for bad filler work.

Some clients dissolve to start fresh with a new provider, correct asymmetry from previous work, or reduce filler that's migrated over time.

filler dissolving at the dose collective in boise, idaho is $200/vial.

most clients need 1-2 vials depending on how much filler is being dissolved.

new to Filler Dissolving?

what to expect during filler dissolving

it works fast

the enzyme starts breaking down filler almost immediately. you'll notice changes within 24 to 48 hours, with full results settling over about 1 to 2 weeks. it's not a slow process.

the puffy phase

the area will look puffier before it looks better. sometimes more swollen than the filler itself was causing. that's normal and temporary. don't panic at day 2.

one session might be enough

small corrections and minor migration often resolve in a single visit. bigger jobs (heavy overfilling, years of product buildup) may need 2 to 3 sessions. kelli will be upfront about what she thinks you'll need.

dental block available for lips

if it's lip filler you're dissolving, kelli can do a dental block so you don't feel a thing. same numbing your dentist uses. it makes the whole process way more comfortable.

is this for you?

why patients choose filler dissolving

01

starting fresh with a new provider

you got filler somewhere else and want a clean slate before building a new plan. no judgment, just a reset.

02

migration

filler has shifted from where it was originally placed. this is common in lips and under-eyes over time, especially with repeated treatments.

03

asymmetry or overcorrection

one side looks different than the other, or the area feels overfilled. dissolving lets us take it back and correct.

04

you just want it gone

you tried filler, decided it's not for you, and want to go back to baseline. that's a perfectly good reason.

filler dissolving faq

the stuff everyone asks.

Hyaluronidase (brand name Hylenex) is an injectable enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid. It's been used in medicine for decades and is the standard method for dissolving HA-based dermal fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, RHA, and Versa. It only works on hyaluronic acid filler. It won't dissolve Sculptra, Radiesse, or silicone.

There's some discomfort, similar to getting filler placed. For lip dissolving, Kelli offers a dental block (similar to the numbing your dentist uses) which makes it significantly more comfortable. For other areas, topical numbing and lidocaine mixed into the product help manage it. Most people say it's very tolerable.

The enzyme starts working almost immediately. You'll typically see filler breaking down within 24-48 hours. There will be swelling first (sometimes more than the filler was causing), which is normal and temporary. Full results settle over about 1-2 weeks. Don't judge the outcome at day 2.

It depends on how much filler is there and how long it's been in place. Small corrections and minor migration often resolve in one session. Heavier overfilling, years of product buildup, or stubborn filler may need 2-3 sessions. Kelli will give you her honest assessment before starting.

Yes. Most providers recommend waiting at least 1-2 weeks after dissolving before placing new filler. This gives the tissue time to recover and settle, and gives Kelli a clean canvas to work with. If re-filling is part of your plan, she'll map that out with you from the start.

No. This service is open to everyone, not just people who got their filler at The Dose Collective. If you got filler somewhere else and you're not happy with it, you're welcome here. Please note, if your filler was placed by a different provider, we may ask to verify that the filler you're wanting to dissolve is hyaluronic acid.

Yes. Dissolving doesn't have to be all or nothing. If you like your filler but want less of it, or if only one area needs correction, Kelli can target specific spots. The approach depends on what you want and what she sees during the assessment. You'll discuss the plan together before anything happens.

Always. If it's your first time here, you'll start with a consult ($50, applied toward treatment). If you want to get treated the same day, book the "same day treatment consultation" option and we'll do the consult and dissolving in one visit. Nothing ever happens without a conversation first.
